Wilson Football officially broke ground on their new facility in Ada on Tuesday.

The Ada Area Chamber of Commerce stated that they are honored that Wilson has chosen to call Ada home for nearly 70 years, cementing its place in football history.

The new plant will bring new jobs and more to the community.

Set for opening in May of 2024, the new factory will be 80,000 square feet.

In addition to footballs, they will also make NBA basketballs as well.

A retail store will also operate at the facility.

As to what will happen with the old building, plans are in the works to turn that into a museum, with sales of factory seconds also taking place.

The Economic Development offices of the Village of Ada and the Hardin County Chamber & Business Alliance were thanked for the work they put into making the new facility happen.
