WKTN to Air Town Hall Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) – Town Hall Ohio, the award-winning public affairs radio program produced by Ohio Farm Bureau Federation, has been added to the programming lineup of WKTN radio in Kenton.

Town Hall Ohio will air Saturdays at 6:30 a.m. beginning April 13. WKTN is located at 95.3 on the FM dial.

Town Hall Ohio is a weekly discussion forum that elevates important issues such as private property rights, food safety, wildlife issues, education, science and technology, business challenges, government and politics.

A top-rated radio program in its broadcast markets, Town Hall Ohio has been honored six times as the best regularly scheduled radio program in the nation by the American Farm Bureau Federation. High profile guests include national, state and local elected officials, state agency heads and leaders from all levels of private industry, education, community service and agriculture

“This new partnership with WKTN is something we are very proud of, and we look forward to providing them and the community of Kenton with interesting, useful information,” said Adam Sharp, Ohio Farm Bureau executive vice president.

“Home Town Media and WKTN are proud to support our regional agricultural community,” said Chad Spencer, WKTN station manager. “One of those ways is to offer ag programming, and we are excited to provide Town Hall Ohio to our listeners.”

Town Hall Ohio is hosted by long-time Ohio farm broadcaster, Farm Bureau staff member and Kenton native Joe Cornely and is financially supported by Nationwide.
