The West Ohio Food Bank is asking for donations to help provide food for families for Thanksgiving.

The agency in a release stated they expect many visitors from those in their 11 county area, including Hardin, to visit them between now and Thanksgiving Day next week.

Here is the complete release:

Thanksgiving is just around the corner. However, not everybody in our 11-county area is counting down the days …

Right now, people in our community are food insecure. Many of these families will be facing tough choices this holiday … like cutting back on food to ease the strain caused by high living costs.

West Ohio Food Bank is expecting visitors between now and Thanksgiving Day. Please give now to help ensure our neighbors facing hunger leave with all the ingredients they need for a nourishing Thanksgiving meal!

Every $10 = up to 50 Meals!

Food, specifically sharing food with our neighbors and loved ones, is such a big part of what makes this time of year so meaningful. So, please make your gift right away. Anything you give will result in families sitting down to celebrate Thanksgiving the way it’s meant to be celebrated — sharing good food with their loved ones.

Thank you in advance for your compassion and generosity. From our family to yours, have a safe and joyful holiday season.
