WOFB to Host Food Distribution Event in Lima

LIMA, OH (April 20, 2023) – The West Ohio Food Bank will hold another Community Resource Fair and food distribution on Monday, April 24, 2023, from 10am—2pm.

The location of the resource fair and food distribution will be the Allen County Fairgrounds, 2750 Harding Highway, Lima, OH.

The following is a list of instructions to follow for those planning on attending the event:

-When you arrive at the fairgrounds (enter off Harding Hwy/Rt. 309) you will be lined up and PARK your car. You will then exit your car and walk through the tables, get flyers and pamphlets and talk to area resource agencies. You will also be able to register for door prizes.

-You will go back to your car and at 12pm we will begin the food distribution and you will be guided through the food line. NO PREREGISTRATION is required to receive food, but you will be checked in on site by WOFB staff, so please have a photo ID ready.

-If you do not want to attend the Resource Fair, you can come to the fairgrounds at 12pm but keep in mind everyone who came to the Resource Fair will be ahead of you in line.

-There will be bathroom facilities available and a free lunch will be provided by Neighborhood Relief Ministries.
