Woman Arrested After a Weekend Pursuit in Findlay

A woman was arrested in Findlay after a pursuit in that city over the weekend.

According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, an officer attempted to stop a vehicle in the 500 block of West Trenton Avenue for a traffic violation.

Instead of stopping, the driver led the officer on a just over five mile pursuit that reached speeds of 78 miles an hour as it headed west on US 224.

The pursuit ended near the intersection of State Route 186.

The driver, identified as 21 year old Brianna Karg, was arrested on charges of operating a vehicle intoxicated and fleeing and eluding.

There were no injuries.
