An old hand grenade was found in a garage in Findlay on Monday.
According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of Kellybrooke Court where the grenade was found.
The owner of the property said it may have been stored in the garage by a late relative.
The item appeared to be a World War II style hand grenade.
Lima Bomb Squad was dispatched to the scene, and the grenade was taken off site and safely detonated.
