Wyandot County Man Arrested on Rape Charges in Seneca County

A Wyandot County man was arrested at his residence in Sycamore over Labor Day weekend on rape charges from Seneca County.

 

According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy from Seneca County met with a deputy from Wyandot County and travelled to the home of Stephen Maple in the 100 block of Front Street in Sycamore.

 

Maple was arrested without incident on a three count Grand Jury indictment for rape and abduction.

 

He was transported to the Seneca County Jail.
