BOWLING GREEN, OH – Congresswoman Liz Cheney (R-WY), spoke to a full room at Congressman Bob Latta’s 2019 Lincoln-Reagan Day Dinner in Archbold this past Monday night.

The dinner was held at Sauder Village and featured Wyoming’s At-Large Congresswoman and Chair of the House GOP Conference. Congresswoman Cheney started her speech by describing family ties to Defiance that predated the Civil War before discussing contemporary issues.

Congressman Latta kicked off the evening by outlining the number of radical proposals that have been passed or are being considered by the current Democrat-led House of Representatives. In addition, Latta criticized House Democratic leadership for not allowing a vote on the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act.

“It was a wonderful night in Archbold to have so many come out to hear Congresswoman Cheney speak about how it’s never been so important to adhere to our conservative values. With the most liberal House of Representatives in the history of our country, Liz outlined why it’s important to stand up for what we believe and make our voice heard. Whether it’s supporting life, protecting the 2nd Amendment, or upholding the Constitution, we must stay united against attacks from the left. I’d like to thank everyone who came from around Ohio’s 5th Congressional District to this year’s Lincoln-Reagan Day Dinner.”
