The committee for the Tree Town Festival in Forest announced today (May 22) that the 2020 festival has been cancelled.
The committee planned to wait until June 1st to make a decision, but it has become more clear that the ban on mass gatherings will still be in effect in July.
Also, the amount of planning and preparation needed with vendors, sponsors, and committee members over the next several weeks would be impossible with the current social distancing restrictions as they are.
The festival committee thanked the administration of the Village of Forest, sponsors, vendors and most of all the public for their continued support over the years.
Planning for the 2021 Tree Town Festival is already underway.
