A Dola man escaped injury in a crash that occurred over the weekend in Hancock County. The Memorial Park Golf Course is hosting a Junior Golf League this summer for kids in grades 4 through 8. Those attending will learn basic golf fundamentals, course etiquette, putting and more. Soroptimist International of Kenton/Hardin County announced its upcoming LUNAFEST Film Festival.  The 2023 season of LUNAFEST will start at 11am on April 1 at the Kenton Theatre, and it features seven short films with a total running time of 95 minutes. Proceeds from ticket sales will help fund programs that provide local women and girls with financial awards to achieve their educational goals.  Snacks will be provided.

The next Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance Community Coffee will be held Tuesday April 4 at 8am. The meeting will be held in the Alliance Conference Room at 225 South Detroit Street in Kenton. Aaron Rider from Heritage Health Care will be the guest speaker.
