2425 New Cases of COVID-19 in Ohio; Hardin County at Red Level 3

There were 179,424 confirmed and 11,006 probable for a total of 190,430 cases of COVID-19 in Ohio as of Thursday afternoon.

That is 2425 new cases in one day.

The total number of hospitalizations is 17,682.

3657 of them in intensive care units.

5161 deaths have been reported since the pandemic began.

Hardin County has been elevated to Red Level 3 on the Ohio Public Health Advisory System.

That means there is a very high exposure and spread. Residents should limit activities as much as possible.

In our region, Allen, Marion and Union Counties are also at Red Level 3.

Auglaize, Hancock, Logan and Wyandot Counties are at Orange Level 2.
