Field Fire Burns Over 20 acres in Northern Logan County on Wednesday
A large field fire involved more than 20 acres in northern Logan County late Wednesday afternoon.
WPKO Radio reported that the fire was started as a controlled burn by Glen Kramer, of Rushsylvania, but it quickly escalated due to dry conditions and breezy weather.
The fire was uncontrollable by 4:30pm in the 1400 block of State Route 274.
Fire departments from Huntsville, Rushcreek Township and Bellefontaine were then dispatched to the scene.
WPKO reported that fire crews had the fire contained by 5:30 Wednesday evening.
