
Dana Poland, 88, of Kenton, passed away peacefully with family by her side, Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Blanchard Place. She was born on April 22, 1937, in Kenton to the late Paul and Florence (Hersch) Daniels. She married Tim Poland on October 28, 1956, and he preceded her in death on November 16, 2007.
Dana is survived by her sons: Jeff (Michele) of Bartlett, TN, and their son, Dusty; Steve (Shelly) of Kenton, and grandson, Dustin (Danielle) Poland of Kenton, and their children: Isaiah, Lillian and Joseph; granddaughter, Ashley (Tom) Shaheen of Findlay, and their children: Mason and Alyvia; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sisters: Barbara Houser, May Jo Stewart and Ann Lotz.
Dana was a homemaker and worked together with her husband on the farm for their entire married life of 51 years. She was a member of the Abundant Life Assembly of God and Hardin County Farm Bureau. She and Tim spent 12 years in Okeechobee, FL. She enjoyed volunteering and working with her church family.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 30, 2025, at SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Kenton, with Pastor Jim Goldsmith officiating. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery, Kenton.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2025, at SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Kenton.
