The start of pool season is being pushed back in both Ada and Kenton due to unseasonably chilly weather.

The Village of Ada Pool, originally set to open over Memorial Day weekend, has delayed its opening because water temperatures could not be maintained at the required minimum of 70 degrees. The pool is now scheduled to open on Friday, May 30, weather permitting. Updates will be posted regularly on the Village of Ada and Concessions Facebook page as staff continues to monitor conditions.

Similarly, the Kenton Municipal Pool announced that its opening day is now set for Monday, June 2. In the meantime, preseason pass prices remain available online at www.cityofkenton.com and will also be offered at the pool once it opens.

Both communities thanked residents for their patience and look forward to welcoming swimmers soon.
