Students from around the world just wrapped up two transformative weeks studying law abroad in Reykjavik, Iceland with Ohio Northern University Law.

Under the guidance of Dean Charles Rose, they explored Iceland’s legal system, visiting the Supreme Court and gaining a better understanding of Icelandic law, procedure and the fundamental commitment to human rights and democracy.

But it wasn’t all work and no play for students while there, they also got to explore the country’s stunning natural landscapes including glaciers, volcanoes, waterfalls, and geothermal springs.

Speaking of Dean Charles H. Rose III, he received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Annual Educating Advocacy Teachers Conference, hosted by Stetson Law.

From leading Stetson’s nationally top-ranked Trial Advocacy Program to serving two decades in the U.S. Army, Dean Rose’s career reflects a deep commitment to justice, education, and service.
