City of Kenton Residents Receive New Waste Bins as Rumpke Prepares to Take Over Service July 1
The City of Kenton’s new Waste and Recycling provider began delivering new bins to residents on Monday.
Rumpke will continue the deliveries throughout the week.
Starting Tuesday, June 24, Republic Services will collect old trash and recycling bins on your regular pickup day.
Simply place the old bins curbside, and one crew will pick up the trash, and another crew will pick up the bins.
Rumpke will begin their pickup service on Tuesday, July 1.
Your trash and recycling collection day will remain the same.
Your trash service bill will also remain the same and will continue to appear on your monthly water bill.
Additional details, including recycling guidelines and holiday schedules, have been sent out and should arrive in your mailbox this week.
