 Florence “Flo” Louise Legge
55 of Mt. Victory

Loving Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and friend Florence Louise Legge passed away peacefully June 28, 2025, at the Marion General Hospital surrounded by her loved ones.  Preferably known as Flo, she was born July 24, 1969, in Kenton, Ohio. Flo is survived by her mother, Fay L. Legge (Treen), daughter, Mia Weaver, daughter, Kathleen Gossard, brother, Charles Legge (Martina Legge), nieces, Amara Elizabeth Legge, Alyssa Marie Legge, Audrey Kerrigan Legge, and nephew, Alexander James Charles Legge. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert E. Legge, brother, Robert E. Legge II, and Life Partner Libby Gossard.

Flo attended and graduated from Ridgemont in 1987 before attending Wooster University to study Horse Veterinary for a year.  She then was a server at the Plaza Inn for 14 years where she met many people in the community and made many lifelong friends. In 2000 she started working at Production Action where she was a supervisor for 5 years, and Sort Rite where she was Coordinator for a number of years.  Flo worked over the past 10 years in the Paint Department at ELP for Adecco where she met many more friends.

Flo enjoyed playing softball in her younger years and was a Girl Scout, Girl Scout Leader and twirled baton for the Urban Cowgirls.  She was a baseball enthusiast, following her favorite team, the Mets, every year.  Flo loved anything Walking Dead, History (especially the Civil War and JFK), Sci-Fi, DC Comic Related (Wonder Woman being her favorite character), watching movies and listening to Mariah Carey, Tayor Swift, and New Kids on the Block. She loved spending time with her mom, her dog Dixon, and time with loved ones like her brother, sister-in-law, her nieces and nephew and all her cousins in the Martin and Hottman families, which she treated like her nieces and nephews.

Flo absolutely loved life.  She made many friends that she considered family over the years.  Flo never knew a stranger.  She had an absolutely large heart that she wore on her sleeve for all to see.  She touched the hearts of many people, and she will be deeply and greatly missed.  We all love you, Flo.  Rest in Peace!

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Mount Victory God’s Lifeline.

A Celebration of Life for Flo will be held at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
