One Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on SR 347 in Union County

One person was injured in a crash that occurred Thursday afternoon in Union County.

According to the report from the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 20-year-old Adam Baker, of Marion, was driving southeast on State Route 347 and failed to slow down in time to avoid striking a vehicle in front of him that was being driven by 25-year-old Aaron Rettig, of Prospect, who had slowed down at a construction site.

Disabling damage occurred to both vehicles.

Baker was transported to Memorial Hospital in Marysville for treatment of injures.

He was cited for an assured clear distance ahead violation.
