The Ohio State Highway Patrol is warning drivers about the danger of not coming to a complete stop at red lights and stop signs.

In 2024, Ohio recorded 12,913 crashes attributed to running a red light or stop sign.

Troopers urge motorists to remain alert, practice caution and always come to a complete stop at red lights to help ensure everyone’s safety.

This week is National Stop On Red Week, which serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of red-light running and the importance of safe driving.
