Minor Injuries Reported in Hardin County SR 53 and TR 114 Collision
Two drivers escaped with minor injuries after an accident Wednesday morning on State Route 53 at Township Road 114.
According to information from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, Michael Yankee, of rural Dunkirk, was driving east on 114 and failed to stop for a stop sign at 53.
His pickup was struck by a northbound car being operated by Karen Harp, of Kenton.
Minor injuries were reported at the scene, but EMS did not transport anyone to the hospital.
Yankee was issued a citation for failure to yield.
Assisting at the scene were Kenton Fire Department, BKP Ambulance District, and Osborn’s Towing.
