An important announcement was issued earlier today from the Hardin County Dog Warden’s Office.

All adoptions at the Hardin County Dog Warden’s Office are suspended temporarily due to a suspected K-9 illness. This suspension is necessary to ensure the health and safety of dogs at the shelter as well as other dogs in the community.

The Dog Warden’s Office will remain open for registration and dog tag needs.

They thanked the community for their understanding and support.
