The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office has executed four search warrants and assisted the Bowling Green Police Department on another one over the past three months as part of ongoing efforts to combat internet crimes against children.

According to a release from Hancock County Sheriff Michael Cortiz, warrants were served August 3 at 108 North Church Street in McComb, at 8180 Meadowood Drive and 8139 Pinewood Drive on September 11 and at 930 Heatherview Court in Findlay on October 21.

As a result, evidence was seized that will undergo forensic examination for potential evidence related to ongoing investigations.

These cases remain active and will be reviewed by the Hancock County Prosecutor’s Office upon completion.
