Ada 8th Grade Math Students Showcase Creativity Through Tessellation Designs
8th-grade math students at Ada put their creativity and geometry skills to work by designing tessellations during their study of transformations.
After completing their designs, students nominated their favorites and voted for winners in four fun categories.
The winners were:
Best Tile Shape Design: 1st – #2 Annie L. | 2nd – #3 Madi H.
Neatest / Most Professional: 1st – #2 Annie L. | 2nd – #5 Ka’Miah C.
Best Color / Drawing Design: 1st – #3 Madi H. | 2nd (tie) – #18 Shay B. & #21 Ella C.
Best Overall: 1st – #3 Madi H. | 2nd – #2 Annie L.
