
A celebration of life for James Large Jr. will be held at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
James passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at the Kenton Nursing Rehab Center. He was born on September 12, 1964, in Kenton to the late Rosemary (Lyon) and James Large Sr.
Surviving is his maternal grandmother, Betty L. Ganson of Bellefontaine, a sister, Betty “Crickett” Breece of Bluffton, and a nephew, Lakota Breece of Kenton.
He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Rose Ann Large, and an infant niece, Abbey Lowrance.
James was the owner/operator of Large’s Exhaust and Brake in Kenton, taking over the business from his father.
He was a former member of the Kenton Moose and West Mansfield Lions Club.
James enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He would often take long trips on his bike. He also enjoyed deer hunting and always looked forward to deer camp with his buddies.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in James’ honor may be made to Heartland Hospice of Marion.
