Obituary for Harold Kenneth Stimmel Jr.

Harold Kenneth Stimmel Jr, age 96, of Alger, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at Vancrest of Ada. 

He was born on November 2, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Harold K. and Cleo (Binkley) Stimmel, Sr.  On April 3, 1948 Kenneth married Thelma M. Hall and she preceded him in death on July 15, 2012.  He later married Donna Payne-Stimmel and she preceded him in death in 2018. Then on November 2, 2019 Kenneth married Mildred Stephens and she preceded him in death on May 11, 2024. 

Kenneth is survived by his son, Thomas A. (Brenda) Stimmel of Houston, TX; and daughter, Beverly (David) Campbell of Harrod; four grandsons: Kary (Shanna) Campbell, Tracy Campbell, Travis (Jennifer) Campbell and Parker Stimmel; four great grandchildren: David Campbell, Haley Campbell, Brittany (Zeb) Groch and Dylan Campbell; and two great-great grandchildren. 

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger with Pastor Todd Tenaglia officiating.  Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger. 

Friends may call from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Friday, November 28, 2025 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.   

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Waynesfield Baptist Church, 512 N. Westminster Street, Waynesfield, Ohio 45896 and/or Vancrest of Ada, 600 W. North Avenue, Ada, Ohio 45810.
