Sally Jeanette (Inbody) McDougle, 82, Dola, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on December 26, 2025. She was born October 28, 1943, at Bluffton Hospital, to Lawrence and Mildred (Oldham) Inbody, who both preceded her in death.

Sally was married to Thomas Jay McDougle for 48 years before his passing in 2014. She is survived by her loving husband, Lanny Dillon.

She is also survived by her children Christina (Ronald) Feltz of Summerset, SD, Angela (Nicholas) Waltz of Covington, KY, Cheryl (Darrell) Williams of Livonia, MI, and David (Christy) McDougle of Fairborn, OH; seven grandchildren: Michael Feltz, Daniel Feltz, Tyler Waltz, Rachel Waltz, Tony Williams, Vivian Williams, and Derrick Williams; four great grandchildren: Lucas Feltz, Winston Feltz, Nora Waltz, and Charlotte Waltz.

Also surviving are the children and grandchildren of her husband Lanny, whom she loved: a daughter, Deana (Jeff) Vogel of Bellevue, and a son, Michael Dillon of Cincinnati; seven grandchildren, Ryan Vogel, Kylie Harris, Joe Vogel, Jamie Vogel, J.J. Vogel, Jacqueline Dillon, and Jennifer Dillon; and one great-grandchild, Everleigh Vogel.

Sally is also survived by her brother, David Inbody of Coopersville, Michigan.

Sally graduated from Arlington High School in 1961 and earned a BA in Music Education with an emphasis on piano and organ from Bluffton College in 1965. Sally was the first baby born at Arlington Bible Fellowship Church and went on to play both the organ and piano there during her many years of membership.

She was also a member of The First Baptist Church in Findlay and recently retired from her pianist role at the Van Buren United Methodist Church. Sally taught piano for over 60 years. She found great joy in teaching her many piano students over the years and sharing her gift of music in the church.

Her faith in Christ carried her throughout her life. She was a gifted pianist, a skilled seamstress, and someone whose smile could light up a room.

Visitation will be held at the CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Arlington, on Tuesday, December 30, from 4-7 pm. A funeral service will begin at 11 am Wednesday, December 31, 2025 with Pastor Ben Lowell officiating with burial to follow in Bishop Cemetery, Eagle Township, Hancock County.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses, aides, and staff at Birchaven, as well as Bridge Home Health and Hospice, for the compassionate care and comfort they provided.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital.
