Obituary for Geraldine Jane (Blum) Baughman

Geraldine Jane (Blum) Baughman passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025, at the Kenton Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on April 18, 1940, in Kenton to the late Leonard Blum and the late Martha (Birch) Bates. On November 18, 1956, she married Gilbert Baughman, and he survives in Kenton.

Also surviving are 2 daughters, Geri (Tim) DeLong, Gina Smith, 2 sons, Gilbert (Julie) Baughman, Glen (Lynn) Baughman, grandchildren, Paul DeLong, Danielle (Matt) Anderson, Laurie DeLong, Jennifer (Chris) Stalk, Chad (Missy) Baughman, Justin (Danielle) Smith, Lindsey DeLong, Andrew Baughman, Gretchen (Brad) Shook, Shane (Marie) Baughman, 21 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Charlotte Wren, Harold Blum and Gerald Blum.

Geraldine was a homemaker who loved her family deeply. She was a huge animal lover, especially her dogs and cats. 

Funeral services for Geraldine will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor Gregg King officiating. Burial will follow in Wolfcreek Cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Friday, January 2, 2026, at the funeral home. 

Memorial donations in Geraldine’s honor may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
