
Karen Kay (Davie) Long passed away on January 1, 2026, at her home in Kenton. She was born on January 16, 1962, to the late Shirley Jane (Kilgore) Davie and James Harold Davie Sr.
Surviving is a son, Eric (Erica) Taylor, 2 daughters, Amy (Nick) Smith, Sara Powell, 11 grandchildren, Tyler, Charli, Hunter, Natalie, Connor, Dawson, Ella, Foster, Emma, Ayden, and Adam.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, James H. Davie Jr and Bruce Alan Davie.
Karen retired from Honda Marysville in 2018 and most recently worked for Ridgemont Local Schools where she got to enjoy seeing her grandchildren. Karen loved her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She would often be seen cheering them on in their sporting events and activities.
Karen was a proud member of the Ridgeway Church of Christ where she was involved in many activities. Karen absolutely loved her church family.
A celebration of life for Karen will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Mt. Victory.
Memorial donations in Karen’s honor may be made to God’s Lifeline or the Ridgeway Church of Christ.
