Ridgemont School Board Elects Officers, Approves Construction Agreement
The Ridgemont Schools‘ Board of Education held its organizational and regular January meeting Wednesday evening.
Matt Jennings was elected President and Kate Wingfield was elected Vice-President for the 2026 calendar year.
The regular meetings will start at 5:30pm and will be held on the second Wednesday of the month, with the exception of the June meeting, which will be on June 24.
At the regular meeting that followed, the Board approved an agreement with Garmann-Miller Associates for the Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade additions and renovations project.
Also approved was the 2026-27 school year calendar and the 26-27 Open Enrollment Policy.
The Board went into executive session and no action was taken after reconvening.
The next regular meeting will be held on February 11.
