A single-vehicle crash on Twp. Rd. 150 near Harrod Friday evening left a car submerged in a pond, according to the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office. The lone driver safely exited the vehicle.
While the car was underwater, an active LED light was visible, prompting the sheriff’s office to advise motorists and passersby not to be alarmed or attempt a rescue, and that calling 9‑1‑1 was unnecessary.
Divers and a towing company responded Saturday to remove the vehicle. The extraction was completed safely, and the light is no longer visible.
No further details have been released at this time.
