Obituary for Anna R. Casto

Anna Rae Casto, age 79, formerly of Nevada and most recently of Marion, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026, at Marion General Hospital.

She was born on February 22, 1946, to the late Willie Jennings and Eva (Workman) Jennings Roberts. On April 2, 1976, Anna married William L. Casto, who preceded her in death on March 29, 1995.

Anna is lovingly survived by her children, Kendal (Nancy) Lewis of Marion, Kalvin (Barbara) Lewis of Bucyrus, and Eva Raeann Casto of Powell; grandchildren, Gavin (Pierce Krassow) Lewis and Alivia (Alex Crall) Lewis; sisters, Hilda Faye Double of Michigan and Mary Danals of Upper Sandusky; special family member, Maxine Robinson; many cherished nieces and nephews; and her beloved granddog, Maverick. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Perry, Everett, and Billy Jennings, and sisters, Edna Mae Giles and Madlyen Pennington.

Anna was a 1965 graduate of Rowan County High School in Kentucky. She was a devoted member of Calvary Bible Baptist Church in Marion, where she sang in the church choir and faithfully served wherever she was needed. A proud Ohio State Buckeyes fan, Anna also enjoyed sewing, gardening, canning, and watching Wheel of Fortune. Above all else, she treasured time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and attending their many activities.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Bringman Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor Floyd Radebaugh officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Heights Cemetery, Marion.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio Health Hospice, in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home, 226 E. Wyandot Ave., Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
