Dennis Mitchell Rudasill of Ada, lovingly known as “Poppy,” passed away on January 31, 2026, at Kenton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center at the age of 75.

Dennis was born on May 27, 1950, in Kenton, Ohio, to Earl and Dorothy Rudasill. He graduated from Kenton High School in 1969 and went on to dedicate 30 years of hard work to Rockwell. After retiring, Dennis continued doing all kinds of side jobs, always keeping himself busy and helping wherever he could. These included building front porches and woodworking projects, setting up large aquariums, designing garden ponds, raising birds, caring for many other animals, and assisting his wife with pet grooming.

He was deeply loved by all who knew him, but especially by his devoted wife, his two sons, and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dennis cherished time spent outdoors and found peace in quiet moments. He was known as the most kind and gentle man-someone whose presence brought steadiness, comfort, and safety to those around him. A hardworking provider and a devoted protector, Dennis lived his life guided by a strong relationship with God and a deep love for his family.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 56 years, Pamela (Music) Rudasill of Ada; his sons, Eric (Yvonne) Rudasill of Alger and Steve (Adriane) Rudasill of Bluffton; his grandchildren Andrew (Madison), Trevor (Stephanie), Megan (Liz), Blake, Courtney, Cheyenne, Brooklyn (Craig), Timmy, Brooklyn Anne, Katie and Braxston; and several beloved great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Dorothy Rudasill, and his brothers-in-law, Harold Music and Rev. Paul Hopson Sr.

At this time, no services are planned. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Dennis will be remembered for his unwavering love, quiet strength, and the lasting impact he made on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
