Owners of Viva Maria in Ada are thanking first responders and the community after a fire damaged the restaurant Monday afternoon.
Multiple fire and emergency units from across the area responded to the scene, with some crews remaining for hours despite cold conditions.
The owners said the fire followed a series of security alarms at the building, and when they arrived, smoke was pouring from the rear of the restaurant. Employees and community members also gathered at the scene, offering support as the situation unfolded.

The owners expressed gratitude for the outpouring of prayers, well wishes, and acts of kindness from the Ada community.
They praised their employees for their support and said they are unsure what comes next but remain hopeful.
The cause of the fire has not yet been released, and updates will be shared as more information becomes available.
