
William Victor Dawson, 72, of Arlington, passed away at his residence on Saturday, February 7, 2026. He was born in Kenton, Ohio on April 29, 1953 to the late Martha (Riggs) Hodge. He was formerly married to Deborah Brown but later divorced and remained friends.
Survivors include his daughter, Shari Dawson, of Arlington, four grandchildren, Seth (Taylor Guthrie) Ramirez, Emily (Filip) Lillard, Isaih (Aja Tate) Dawson, and Oceanna Hohman, many great grandchildren. His brother, John Hodge, of Chicago, Il, and a sister, Sandra (Gary) Buerger, of Kenton. Preceding him in death was his son, Tommy Dawson, a brother, Dale Dawson, and a sister, Barbara Snider.
William drove trucks for ADS in Findlay for over 30 years retiring in 2015. He enjoyed watching the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cleveland Browns, and NASCAR. Most of all he enjoyed time with his family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 from 2-7 pm and on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 from 10 to 11 am at the CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Arlington. A funeral service will be held at 11 am Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Harry Launder officiating. Burial will follow at Eagle Creek Cemetery.
