
Judith L. (Price) Heffernan, 87, of Kenton, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026, at the Kenton Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born on May 29, 1938, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Harry and Eleanor (Lohrer) Price. On May 15, 1980, she married John B. Heffernan, who preceded her in death on June 29, 2021.
Judith is survived by three sons: Steven (Deborah) Williamson of Kenton, Gary Williamson of Kenton, and Dale (Ann) Williamson of Columbus; four grandchildren: Nathan (Cyenna) Williamson, Chad Williamson, Christina (Josh) Bowman, and Tegan (Sam Long) Morris; and four great-grandchildren: Owen Michael Williamson, Joel (Samantha Sturgeon) Bowman, Micah Bowman, and Ella Bowman. She was preceded in death by her siblings, David Michael Price and Gail Price.
Judith retired from the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services after more than 40 years of dedicated service. She was a member of the Black Swamp Draft Horse Association and had a deep love for animals. She also enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.
Funeral services for Judith will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton, with Pastor Jmac Geissinger officiating. Burial will follow at Otterbein Cemetery. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home two hours prior to the service.
Memorial donations in Judith’s honor may be made to the Hardin County Humane Society, a charity of the donor’s choice, or by planting a tree in her memory.
