Progress is being made on the construction of Vancrest of Kenton.
A groundbreaking ceremony for the new facility was held in late September of 2025 on Wildcat Way in Kenton.
The 67,700-square-foot facility will be a 64-bed nursing and residential care facility.
If all goes as planned, it will open in the Spring of 2027.
It is expected to create 51 jobs and a payroll of nearly $2 million.
Vancrest was founded in 1960 by Dr. E. E. White and remains family-owned, led by Dr. White’s son Mark White.
