Flyers sent to residents impacted by a new parking restriction on Smith Avenue in Kenton contained wrong information.
Kenton Safety Service Cindy Murray announced at the February 23 Council Meeting, that no parking would be allowed on the south side of the 200 and 300 blocks of Smith Avenue.
The flyers sent to the affected residents, however, stated that parking would be prohibited on the north side beginning March 20.
City officials say that the information in the flyer should have read parking will be prohibited on the south side.
Residents there are requested to adhere to the new regulation once signage is installed.
Murray stated in February the move is being made because the street is not wide enough for a school bus.
