A Kenton man changed his plea to guilty on multiple charges Tuesday in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.

According to Court documents, Scott A. Fulmer was then found guilty on 3 counts of kidnapping, 3 counts of felonious assault, one count of having weapons under disability and one count of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle.

He was indicted on the charges in October of 2025, and the incidents occurred the month before.

Fulmer faces up to 23 years and 6 months in prison when he is sentenced on May 13.

Also in Court Tuesday, an Ada woman was arraigned on a 29-count indictment.

39-year-old Shaylee Jo McKean was indicted last month on 28 counts of illegal use of SNAP benefits or WIC Program benefits and one count of grand theft.

The incidents contained in the indictment allegedly occurred throughout 2025.

McKean was found indigent and was appointed an attorney.

Judge Steve Christopher set a $2500 own recognizance bond with conditions, and a one-day jury trial is scheduled for July 21.
