
Sheena Marie Striker Capelle, 43, of Kenton, passed away on April 7, 2026. She was born November 11, 1982, in Kenton, Ohio, to Tim and Lisa Striker. On December 23, 2023, she married Travis Capelle.
Sheena is survived by her husband, parents, grandmothers; Florence Striker and Eleanor Terrill, step-children; Mallorie and Trever Capelle, brother; Chris (Tiffanie) Striker, nieces; Lilah and Amelia Striker, and lots of cousins.
She graduated from Kenton High School, received a Masters degree in Education from Wright State, and a Masters in History from University of Nebraska. She worked as an intervention specialist at Kenton Middle School. She was a past director of the Hardin County Museum, served as a board member for Kenton City Schools, and was a MDA ambassador. She enjoyed traveling to Disney World, crocheting, cross stitching, taking items to the fair, reading and very interested in history. She delivered a message about Jacob Parrott at the National Medal of Honor Museum in Chattanooga, TN. She was a member of Kenton Missionary and Alliance Church and loved the Lord with all of her heart.
A graveside service will be held at Grove Cemetery, Friday, April 10, 2026, at 1:30 PM. with Pastor Steve Hess officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kenton Missionary and Alliance Church.
