Ohio Army National Guard to Welcome Home Returning Soldiers in Columbus Ceremony

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio Army National Guard will welcome home Soldiers from Signal Advisor Team 6530 and Military Intelligence Advisor Team 6540, 5th Battalion, 54th Security Force Assistance Regiment, after an approximately 12-month deployment to the U.S. European and U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility.

The public is invited to attend a ceremony honoring the returning Soldiers at noon on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Maj. Gen. Robert S. Beightler Armory, 2825 W. Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43235.

The 5-54th is among the specialized units under the U.S. Army Security Force Assistance Command with the core mission of training, advising, assisting, enabling, and accompanying operations with U.S. allies and partner nations, to build relationships and capabilities that bolster long-term regional security and stability.
