OSU Extension and JFS to Host Free Family Engagement Event in Kenton

Ohio State University Extension – Hardin County

Ohio State University Extension in Hardin County, in a partnership with Ohio Jobs and Family Services in Hardin County is planning a Family Engagement Event on Sunday, April 19 from 1-4 p.m. for Child Abuse Awareness Month.  

This event is free and is funded by the Ohio Children’s Trust Fund.

The event will be held at the Simon Kenton School, 705 N Ida St, Kenton, OH 43326

There will be free inflatable games, a trackless train, 4-H Line Dancing, and Grab and Go Activities provided by OSU Extension.

They will also have some amazing door prizes. Each child/youth in attendance (birth to HS senior) will be given a raffle ticket to place in the bucket of the prize they would like to win and drawings will begin at 3:30 p.m.

*Food will be grab and go healthy snacks (i.e. pretzels, granola bars, fruit snacks, applesauce, etc.). Bottled water has been provided by Hempy Water.
