Vancrest opened a new facility in Upper Sandusky this week.

The new 87,000 square foot building includes a 99-bed skilled nursing facility, consisting of 79 long-term care beds and a specialized 20-bed rehabilitation wing.

Additionally, the facility will include a 40-unit assisted living facility with 10 units dedicated to memory care.

Construction of the facility began in July of 2024.

Also, construction continues for Vancrest of Kenton.

Construction of that 67,700-square-foot, 64-bed nursing and residential care facility began in September of 2025 on Wildcat Way.

If all goes as planned, it will open in the Spring of 2027.
