The Kenton JROTC Marksmanship team traveled to Camp Perry this past Saturday to compete in the Civilian Marksmanship Program’s monthly competition.

Presley Poling finished her high school marksmanship career by taking 1st place overall, Logan Sherrer finished 2nd, and Alan Walls and Autumn Monday just missed the final 8 competitor “Shoot Out”.

Koby Hendrickson set a new personal record and has shown significant improvement over the last few weeks.

Several coaches, parents, and athletes thanked Presley for the fierce competition she has provided and for the way that her competitive spirit has inspired others.

They said that Presley’s contribution to the team is evident in the up-and-coming talent that they are developing, and officials wish her the best as she moves on to Shawnee State University to pursue a degree in criminal justice.
