Obituary for Ilene (France) Baldwin

Ilene went to be with her savior, on Monday, May 25, 2026 at her home. She was born on August 29, 1928, in Green Camp, Ohio, to the late Russell and Carrie (Martin) France. In 1946, she married Paul L. Baldwin, who preceded her in death on June 17, 2003.

She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Sue (Richard) Breneman; her son, Dana Paul Baldwin; her sister, Tootie Scott; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers: Cecil, Danny, Ralph, and Chester France; and six sisters: Pauline France, Mabel Martin, Mildred Hoge, Ruth Rumer, Lela Canter, and Gladys Edminston.

Ilene was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed cooking, gardening, tending to her yard, and refinishing antiques.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Ridgeway Cemetery, with Pastor Gary Hohman officiating. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ilene’s honor to Not By Choice.
