Obituary for Phyliss Vermillion
Funeral services for Phyliss Vermillion will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor Mike Darling officiating. Burial will follow at McDonald Fairview Cemetery. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Phyllis J. Vermillion passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was born in Rushsylvania, Ohio on April 1, 1931, to the late Frank and Lucy (Freshcorn) Vermillion.
She is survived by her sister, Louella Jean Pich of Kenton, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Phyliss was preceded in death by her sisters, Marjorie, Maxine, Betty, Mary, and Doris, and her brothers, Clayton, Marion “Pete” and Buddy.
She was a graduate of Kenton High School and retired from the Ohio Power Company in Kenton. She also attended the First Reformed United Church of Christ.
