Obituary for Sandra K. Lodge

Sandra K. Lodge, age 79, of Forest, Ohio, died Saturday, June 6, 2026.

She was born March 12, 1947, to the late Ferris A. and Ruth E. (Peters) Buess. On June 12, 1965, she married Thomas L. Lodge, and he survives in Forest.

Sandra is also survived by her children, Lisa Patrick of Springboro and Chris (Ruby) Lodge of Harpster; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Nancy (Robert) Bristoll of Forest and Carol (Edward) Watson of Missouri; and brother, Steven (Eulalia) Buess of Arizona. She was preceded in death by her brother, Roger Buess.

Sandra was a 1965 graduate of Riverdale High School. She retired from Kenton Structural and Ornamental Ironworks after 30 years of dedicated employment.

She was a member of Blanchard River Church of Christ. A cancer and leukemia survivor, Sandra faced life with a positive spirit and a faithful heart. Her uplifting demeanor was a blessing to those around her and was a source of strength throughout her life. She enjoyed attending the Blanchard River Church of Christ Ladies Bible Study, wintering in Florida, swimming pool aerobics, learning, and reading. Most of all, Sandra treasured time spent with her family. She was deeply faithful to God and found great joy when her family followed in that same faith.
