Obituary for Kathryn M. Craig

A celebration of life for Kathryn will be held at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Kathryn passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026, at Lima Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 23, 1942, in Kenton to the late Delbert and Pauline (Chamberlain) Baum. On January 8, 1966, she married Stephen D. Craig, who preceded her in death on May 10, 2014.

She is survived by her sister, Diane Wells of Kenton; her brother, Randall (Dorothy) Baum of Dunkirk; a grandchild, Ryan Craig of Kenton; great-grandchildren, Alex and Hakeem Craig; and several nieces and nephews.

Kathryn was preceded in death by three sisters, Effie Mae Mohn, Ruby Piper, and Judy Ann (Larry) Wells; two brothers, Delbert and Stephen Baum; and her brother-in-law, Bob Wells.

Kathryn enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, word searches, and board games. Above all, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She also had a great love for her cats.

Memorial donations in Kathryn’s honor may be made to the American Heart Association.
