OVI Checkpoint in Auglaize County Results in No Arrests

The Ohio State Highway Patrol released the results of an OVI checkpoint that was in Auglaize County this past Saturday night.

It was conducted in coordination with the Wapakoneta Police Department on County Road 25A, just north of State Route 67 in Auglaize County.

During the operation, troopers made contact with 224 drivers.

No vehicles were diverted, and no arrests were made.

The Ohio Department of Transportation also assisted on the scene.

Motorists are reminded that if they see an impaired or reckless driver on the road, call #677 to be connected directly to the nearest Ohio State Highway Patrol post.
