HARDIN COUNTY, OH — The United Way of Hardin County is excited to announce the return of the Linda Garmon Memorial Football Drop, taking place Friday, September 25, at Ada War Memorial Park.

Named in honor of Linda Garmon, a longtime supporter and friend of the United Way of Hardin County, the Football Drop celebrates Linda’s commitment to helping make a difference in the Hardin County community. The event continues her legacy of supporting local organizations and the people they serve.

For just $5 per ticket, participants have the chance to win up to $1,000! During the event, footballs will be dropped onto the field, and the lucky participants whose footballs land in the designated helmet will split the $ 1,000 prize.

Tickets are available for $5 at the United Way of Hardin County office or online. Participants do not need to be present to win.

“We are proud to continue this event in Linda’s memory,” said Martha Nau, Director of the United Way of Hardin County. “Linda was a tremendous supporter of the United Way, and this event specifically, so this is a fun way to honor her while raising funds that help strengthen our community.”

Community members are encouraged to purchase their tickets early and join the excitement at Ada War Memorial Park on September 25 as the Ada Bulldogs take on Leipsic.
