Lisa (Mauk) Tetirick 65
of Zanesfield, formerly of Kenton

Lisa (Mauk) Tetirick passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine. She was born on March 22, 1961, in Kenton to the late Thomas R. Mauk and Nan N. (Brindley) McNutt. On September 16, 1989, she married James “Jim” Tetirick, who survives in Zanesfield.

Also surviving are a brother, Roger (Dina) Mauk of Delphos, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Mauk.

Lisa graduated from Kenton High School in 1979 and earned her associate degree in respiratory therapy from The Ohio State University. She worked as a respiratory therapist at Mary Rutan Hospital for nearly 40 years before retiring.

Lisa had a deep love for animals. She and her husband raised alpacas for 21 years and fostered any animal that arrived at their farm. She especially loved cats and dogs, particularly her Great Pyrenees, Toby. A creative and free spirit, Lisa enjoyed singing, dancing, listening to music, working with stained glass, and doing tole painting.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Cremation will follow, with burial at Grove Cemetery taking place at a later date.

Memorial donations in Lisa’s honor may be made to the Logan County Animal Shelter or the Siegel Rare Neuroimmune Association.
